Description and Objectives
This workshop will teach clinicians how to THINK ABOUT ethics in therapy and navigate ethical dilemmas by applying critical thinking and self-awareness.
The tools, discussion, and application provided will help clinicians address and increase tolerance for the ambiguity of ethical dilemmas, identify indicators (both clinically and personally) of ethical issues/dilemmas, and increase self-awareness regarding triggers, biases, and past experiences that impact their ethical decision-making. We will also provide and apply tools and resources for navigating dilemmas to help clinicians build a framework for working through possible scenarios and outcomes.
